SA IZO The New York Botanical Garden Plants of BOLIVIA Lauraceae Nectandra megapotamica (Spreng.) Mez det. M. Nee, 2009 DEPTO. Santa Cruz, Prov. Andrés Ibáñez, 8.8 km S of Pedro Lorenzo on old dirt road to Cabezas and Abapó, now used only for local cattle ranches and the road abandoned S of this point. 18°0r09”S, 63°13’25”W. alt. 545 m. Disturbed dry forest and brushy areas, with surrounding cattle pastures, slightly rolling topography, fine sandy and clay soil. With Acrocomia aculeata, Albizia niopoides, Senna spectabilis, Samanea tubulosa, Trichilia stellatotomentosa, Ximenia americana, Rhamnidium elaeocarpum. Tee. Flowers white, borne both on twigs with flushing leaves and twigs with mature leaves. Coll.: M. Nee 56965 26 Nov. 2009 04335191
