Sandstone rock outcrops with small area of disturbed marsh at base, and nearby river with lush vegetation along rocky margins. This plant growing on dry rocky hillside.

Description
herb, tp ca. 1.75 m. Herb with slightly woody stems below, branches few, erect to ca. 1.75 m. Leaves rugose, glossy dark green, paler beneath. Leaves in 4's. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
