5° 51' 22"N, 60° 09' 40” W Elev. 1000 m.
Tepui forest (to 20m tall), 2 tiered; over extremely saturated,
poorly drained substrate with Archytaea, Bombacaceae, Micrandra,
Piper, Arecaceae. Epiphytic, with aerial roots, tips covered in thick
layer of clear mucilaginoiis slime. Inflorescence heads orange.
