Erin Tripp & Kyle Dexter, 17 April 2017 Angola, Namibe 26.8km S. of entrance» Iona NP, between Pediva and Epinheira. 16.52743 S, 12.44338 E. 374m elevation, margins of sandy wash with Eieagans, Diospyros, Mopanesprawiing wide and upright shrub to 0.8m x 1.5m, only seen in this wash, 2 corollas seen, these magenta, smells like Petidium crispum group, corollas visited by beetle, fruiting abundantly, super distinctive trichomes, very sticky, covering paired bracts.
