Montane forest in sandy, rocky soil on steep slopes,
dominated by angiosperm trees 15-20 m, Quercus and
Lauraceae frequent.
Coarse herb to 50 cm, inflorescence bracts green, corolla
blue. Two dense populations seen in shaded area.
