The New York Botanical Garden Plants of Mexico Ericaceae Bejaria Mexico. Chiapas. Angel Albino Corzo. El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve, Sendero Costa, Pacific slope of the Sierra Madre de Chiapas. 15°38'17"N, 92°48'14"W 1700 m. Montane forest in sandy, rocky soil on steep slopes, dominated by large Pinus and Cupressus, rest of forest of closely spaced angiosperm trees to 8 m. Tree to 12 m x 8 cm, immature fruits.
