Montane forest in sandy, rocky soil on steep slopes,
dominated by large Pinus and Cupressus, rest of forest of
closely spaced angiosperm trees to 8 m.
Tree to 12 m x 8 cm, immature fruits. Outer bark gray,
finely fissured, inner bark yellowish. Occasional at this
elevation.
