    Host Notes: thallus; the type host as seen on the lectotype specimen is Peltigera rufescens (fide Hawksworth, Bull. Brit. Mus. (Nat. Hist.), Bot. ser. 6(3): 232, 1979)

Note 1: The type host as seen on the lectotype specimen is Peltigera rufescens (fide
Hawksworth, Bull. Brit. Mus. (Nat. Hist.), Bot. ser. 6(3): 232, 1979).
Note 2: The genus Illosporium is based on I. roseum Mart., a heterotypic synonym of /. car-
neum Fr.
Note 3: In the duplicate kept in GZU, the teleomorphic state Pronectria robergei (Mont. &
Desm.) Weese is also present.
