on small islands in creek, to 5°32'50.3"N, 60°53'47.9"W and
506 m elevation (south of Camp 4); tributary of Kako River,
near border with Venezuela.
5° 32' 43"N, 60° 54' 10" W Elev. 543 m.
Islands formed from gravel bars, prone to scouring, rich in
herbs and shrubs. Rock substrate of pink sandstone and red
<^.e5t,^telfeirB2^es covered with brown stellate scales
