Berry 2013 Guyana, Cuyuni-Mazaruni, Imbaimadai, white sand savanna on west side of airstrip. 5° 42' 31"N, 60° 18' 05" W Elev. 507 m. Grades from drier and recently burned areas to wetter swales and small run on middle with shrub fringe. Tree to 3m. Branch tips reddish. Sheathing stipules persistant, brown.
