Growing on crest of dune near edge of dunes - area around with Juniperus. Growing in sand. Abundant; Spikelets conspicuously hairy, plants about 50 cm tall, strongly rhizomatous Associated species: none Seeds collected from pockets in dune Root tips sent to Anamthawat-Jonsson; plants being grown by Larson in FRRL Mary E.
