  • Description

    Lax shrub 2 to 3 m high ; bark smoothish, brown; wood whitish, rather soft; leaves flat, spreading, sub-coriaceous, the apical portion usually twisted and terminated by recurved tips, dark green above, paler beneath; flowers of a faint but very distinct (something like a new book}, light pink 1 to several from the leaf axils, pendulous; pedicels and calyx greenish red (the tips of the segments rather bright red)j corolla light pink, the pistils of the same colour; filaments yellowish, the anthers bright yellow.
