dominant! Large trees with lots of lianas (Bignoniaceae and
Bauhina. Tree to 25m. Leaves coriaceous, pale and pubescent
below. Young growth tawny brown, indument on upper side easily
rubbed off. Inflorescence on new shoot tips, axillary racemes.
Racemes densely flowered. Flowers subsessile, calyx with 5 lobes,.
