On flat area just south of the S. C. 184/Ga. 368
bridge over the Savannah River; recently clear-cut;
formerly mixed pine-hardwood canopy. Site #106
(Lat. 34°15f10M; Long. 82°30’00n), ca. 0.15 mile
south of bridge. Below the 475-ft. contour (full
pool for proposed Russell Lake). Area to be
impounded in mid-1980's.
