Forested slope above "baixo" -- low terraces possibly flooded occasionally by overflowing streams, with semi-closed canopy including Hura, Moraceae, trunked palms, Sterculia, Eschweilera; understory with Marantaceae and Araceae); and surrounding slopes (with Averrhoidium, Couroupita, Moraceae, Annonaceae, Pouteria).

Description
Tree. Tree 18m x 12cm, outer bark brown, raised lenticels, hoop marks, rough, thin, shed in small thin plates, inner bark dull red, wood yellow. On forested slope above "baixo".
