Description
Gregarious. Pileus 2-6.5 cm. broad, convex to plane, sometimes with a low broad umbo, white to very pale gray, dry, canescent, in one changing in situ to orange at margin. Flesh white, unchanging, up to 1 cm. thick, with mild odor & taste. Lamellae decurrent, subdistant to distant, thick & broad, sometimes forked and/or anastomosed, white to gray, with even edges. Stipe 2.5-6 cm. long, 8-15 mm. broad, tapering downward, dry, terete to compressed, white, appressed fibrillose, with interior solid, white & unchanging. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
