Nee, 2050 BOTANICAL Par NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN 04270254 New York State, Bronx Co., Bronx: Fordham University, Rose Hill Campus. Ornamental tree with trunk nearly 1 m. in diameter near the base, soon dividing into several upright trunks; bark flaky, light gray. Leaves emerging, light green, with coppery tone towards the border. Female; stigmas dull red. A few fragile old fruits persisting. A male tree on nearby grounds of New York Botanical Garden has anthers with pollen already recently released. Coll.: M. Nee 52904 16 April 2005 04270254
