Phytogeogr. value: A plant of the Eurosibirian-
Boreoamerican — Mediterranean — irano-Turanian group of
connection.
Systematically this plant corresponds to var. typica Fiori
(Nuova Flora Analitica d’ltalia I, p. 216) and to var. vulgaris
Cham. (Hegi I, p. 129.)
P. lucens is common in the Lake of Hule, where it forms
rather large pure stands at a considerable distance from the
shore.
Not reported from the Lake of Hule till now.
