  • Description

    More or less clustered and forming dense patches, strict stems glaucous green, 3/8 inch thick; sheath also glaucous green; blades ascending from the base, tips slenderly recurved, pale green above, subglaucous beneath, grooved and whitish on the upper surface; hairs of strict panicles silvery white, glumes yellowish, pistils or stigmas very dark or dull purple, anthers yellow tuning dark yellowish brown; basal sheaths covered with setae; "Bogang".
