Habitat:
Mixed dipterocarp forest, associates include Shorea,
Meliaceae, Myristicaceae, Dipterocarpus. Red clay
soil.
Field Char:
Climber 15 m. Bark brownish-grey, rugose. Inner
bark cream, fibrous. Leaves fleshy, Fruit light
pinkish-beige.
Notes:
Local name: Akar kelait. Use: Fibrous bark used for
making fish nets. Fruit edible.
