Habitat
Growing in a wet roadside seep and ditch below a regenerating old field. With sapling Liquidambar styracuflua, Agalinis tenuifolia, Juncus spp., Solidago rugosa, Phragmities australis, Persicaria sp., and Lobelia puberula.

Description
Common in the immediate area; ca. 20 blooming stems. lower flowers strongly nodding. Flowers white; labellum centrally very, very pale yellow. Very lightly fragrant. No basal leaves present. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
