    United States of America. Idaho. Blaine Co. Sagebrush flats of Macon Flat on Camas Prairie, ca. 22 air-miles east of Fairfield and 13 air-miles south of Hailey. In vernally-wet weak drainage ca. 0.5 mile west of "Sheep Bridge" Big Wood river crossing, on both sides of two-track road north of river. Area very little grazed. Also found in nearby weak drainages.

With Gymnosteris parvula, Fritillaria pudica, Poa sandbergii, Sitanion hystrix, Agropyron spicatum, Claytonia lanceolata, Viola beckwithii, Ranunculus glaberrimus. About 300 clumps up to 200 feet on both sides of road. Gravelly deep clayey alluvial soil, frost-heaving apparent.
