Association: Iriartea, Welfia, Crysophila, Oenocarpus, Astrocaryum standleyanum, Neonicholsonia, Geonoma congesta, Bactris.

Description
Stems cespitose, 3-4, 2-2.5 m tall, erect and self supporting to leaning on surrounding vegetation; leaves undulate margined, without whip rachis; inflorescence from leaf axils 15-20 cm from ground of stem; peduncular, bract green. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
