United States of America. California. Fresno Co. Small deep unnamed lakelet south-southwest 1/4 m. from 10,700' Bighorn Lake at headwaters of North Fork Mono Creek. Lakelet 100' below Bighorn on shelf at foot of talus rising to 11,600' ridge to west. Knob of yellowish granite rises 50' above southeast corner of lakelet.

Habitat
Bottom sterile - no Isoetes or other plants. Pinus albicaulis Krumholz between avalanche chutes above; some herbs on talus. This Penstemon and several cushion plants, etc. in the granite on the 50' knob.
