  • Habitat

    Lodgepole forest along stream and on north side the large meadow; Lodgepoles with some Juniperus and P. monticola up n. slope to Subalpine forest; s. slope ledges bear Lodgepoles, P. monticola, few Tsuga; great talus up middle of s. slope to crest cliff at 11,000-11,500'. Large Salix area about midway. Penstemon along the rock edges under the crest cliff at the top of the talus.
