Forest with open canopy. strong presence of palms, small lianas, and Phenakospermum, herb layer poor. common.
Description

Terrestrial herb. Coarse herb to 10 m, petiole to 185 cm, leaf blade to 175 x 70 cm, exposed part of inflorescence 235 cm, peduncle ca. 158 cm, ca. 5 bracts dull green, flowers white. Few fertile. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
