United States of America. Hawaii. Honolulu Co. Oahu: Waianae Dis., Ohikilolo, Waianae Range. Ohikilolo Ridge (which forms south boundary of Makua Valley).

Habitat
Narrow ridge top. Occurs 1500-3000 feet elev. growing in crevices of volanic rock on north-facing cliffs.

Description
Heads mostly with whitish to lavender rays and pink to purple disc flowers. Three plants seen with larger head and yellow disc florets. Around 300 plants seen. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Endangered; Pollen sample removed by Anita Goetz, 24 May 1990. Permanent slide deposited at NYBG and Fordham.
