Habitat
Tall, tropical evergreen forest, with the large trees recently removed. Slightly hilly, with outcrops of schist. Lecythidaceae, Orbygnya phalerata.

Description
Tree 30 m. tall, 55 cm. in diam.; bark very shallowly fissured. Fruit and leaves collected from ground; many brown and green fruits remain on the tree.
