Distribution
The New York Botanical Garden Moraceae Artocarpus mariannensis Trecul Det. N.C. Zerega, 2000 Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands: Rota. In the center of the island along the road with the Japanese Cannon Memorial Site, just NE of the site. Large tree ~25m. Leaves almost all entire (a few are 3-5 lobed). Dense red hairs on veins below, veins lime green and glabrous above. Fruit dark green, lumpy, seeded. Fruit surface covered with slightly protruding but flat polygons. White latex throughout.
