Hailing Pileus 2-6 cm broad, plane and depressed on the disc, dry, very finely subvelutinous, dark brown (6F8) fading to a cinnamon brown (6E7) to light brown (6D6), eventually finely ^ areolate. Flesh thin, whitish, unchanging, with pungent spicy-like odor, somewhat unpleasant taste, exuding a watery white latex. Lamellae subdecurrent, close and broad, light orange (5A4) when young, dirty orange (5B6) with age, with even edges. Stipe 3-4 cm long, 4-10 m equal or tapering downward, dry, glabrous, cinnamon brown to brown with white basal mycelium; interior white, hollow. Material in CTAB+PVP. 04273007
