The New York Botanical Garden Moraceae Artocarpus altills (Parkinson) Fosberg Det. N.C. Zerega, 2000 Federated States of Micronesia: Pohnpei. Near the ruins of Nan Madol on the property of Semense. Accompanied by guide Mark Kostka. Tree ~ 15m. Leaves 5-9 lobed, glabrous. Trunk twisted. White latex throughout. Local name Meipwet which means white breadfruit. This is a rough (meinsahrek) variety.
