1I The New York Botanical Garden Moraceae Artocarpus altilis (Parkinson) Fosberg Det. N.C. Zerega, 2000 NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN Papua New Guinea. Madang Province: Wangad Island. Small uninhabited coral island off the coast north of Madang. Island is used as a bush garden and plants were predominantly coconut and pandanus. Tree ~30m, dbh ~40cm. Leaves, mostly glabrous above and below, lobed XA way to midrib on upper 1/3 of leaf, 3-5 lobes per leaf. No seedlings were apparent on the ground.
