The New York Botanical Garden Moraceae Artocarpus altilis (Parkinson) Fosberg Det. N.C. Zerega, 2000 Papua New Guinea. Gulf Province: Edge of Kikori River between Kikori and Kopi. 144° 15’ E, 7° 30’ S. Tree ~20m bending over the Kikori River. Leaves, lobed 1/2 way to midrib, rough velcro-like pubescence above and below. Fruit (12cm x 8cm), green, oblong, with flexible spiky processes, with several immature seeds. White latex throughout.
