Papua New Guinea. Madang Province: Baitata. Village and forest
north of Madang. Accompanied by guides Kenny, Rafael, and Eddy.
Leaves come from a small sapling growing near a large (45m) tree. I
Fruit comes from large tree. Leaves glabrous above, velcro-like
pubescence below. Fruit with numerous seeds (1.5cm x 1cm). Flesh
and seeds of fruit are both eaten. White latex throughout. Local name
Kapiak.
