Zerega, 2000 Papua New Guinea. Madang Province: Kau Wildlife Area in Baitabach. Forest preserve ~20 km north of Madang on the west side of the North Coast Highway. Accompanied by guide Job. 145° 45’E, 5° 10’S. Tree ~5m. Leaves large (~lm x 30cm), deeply lobed 5/6 way to midrib, ~6 lobes on each side of leaf. Some of the lobes are lobed themselves. Stipules with reddish hairs.Our guide Job said the fruit has seeds, but no fruits were available. White latex throughout. Local name Kapiak. N.C. Zerega 55 T.J. Motley & D.R.
