The New York Botanical Garden Moraceae Artocarpus altilis (Parkinson) Fosberg Det. N.C. Zerega, 2000 Papua New Guinea. Madang Province: Pig Island. Small uninhabited coral island just off the coast of north of Madang. Used as a garden and plants are predominantly pandanus, coconut and breadfruit. Tree ~25m, dbh ~30cm. Leaves, lobed % to midrib, velcro-like pubescence above and below. White latex throughout. Local name Kapiak. N.C. Zerega 52 10 July 2000 T.J. Motley & D.R.
