Previously logged secondary forest. Accompanied by guides K.
Damas and Michael. 145° 45’ E, 6° 35’S.
Tree ~15m. Leaves deeply lobed, dark above, pale below. Rough,
velcro-like hairs on leaves below. No fruit, available, but guides told
us that they are seeded and dispersed by flying foxes. White latex
throughout. Local name Kapiak.
