highway in the Trigal/Muyurina valley.
18°21’20”S, 64°14’55”W. alt. 2600 m.
Steep slope with disturbed forest, Alnus acuminata,
Podocarpus parlatorei, Vallea stipularis, Alnus acuminata,
Blepharocalyx salicifolius, Campovassouria cruciata.
Shrub 3 m. tall. Inflorescence showy; buds light purple;
older flowers much paler, almost white, lightly fragrant
(12:50 P.M., cloudy bright).
