Tropical evergreen forest and edges.
Slender pole 2.5 m. tall, 2.5 cm. in diameter, with horizontal
branches and the inconspicuous flowers hanging beneath. Flowers
odorless (7:00 A.M., sunny); stigma red, the rest of the flower
greenish white or yellow-green.
