Site on a ridge W of Lake Cleveland off of W side of road to Communication
Tower, Mt. Harrison. Plot in dry, upland meadow w/ many boulders and small
rocks and lots of bare ground. Growing with Penstemon attenuatus, Ligusticum
canbyi, Erigeron peregrinus, Eriophyllum lanatum and Symphyotrichum
foliaceum.
N 42° 19' 10.405" W 113° 39' 46.764 " +/-3 m. WGS 84. 2720 m elevation.
Plot 8, specimen from Clay, 2011 and Clay et al., 2012. Homoploid hybrid speciation in a
rare endemic Castilleja from Idaho (Castilleja christii, Orobanchaceae). Am.J.B.
