In seepage area along stream flowing west into
the Savannah River; alluvial forest. Site #21
(Lat. 34°04,16fl; Long. 82°38,15"), about 0.25
mile east of the Savannah River and 0.15 mile
south of the S. C. 72. Below the 475-ft. contour
(full pool for proposed Russell Lake; impoundment
of the Savannah River scheduled for mid-1980’s).
