blades moderately coriaceous, medium to
dark green and semiglossy above,
slightly paler and semiglossy below;
midrib slightly paler, broadly convex at
base, narrowly convex toward apex above,
acute and slightly paler below,
sometimes undulate; primary lateral
veins weakly sunken above, weakly raised
below; inflorescence erect; spathe pale
green, sometimes tinged with red; spadix
initially pale green and semiglossy,
becoming yellowish brown; tepals
orangish in fruit; berries orange, 2.5-3
mm diam., obovoid.
