Loc.: Baw Baw National Park. Summit of Mt St Gwinear.
37° 49' 57.5" S 146° 18' 40.6" E. Alt.: 1516 m.
Habitat: Subalpine shrubland/herbfield surrounded by Snow
Gum Woodland. Scattered low shrubs and occasional small
eucalypts, herbs and low grasses between large granite
slabs.
Associated taxa: Eucalyptus pauciflora, Pultenaea muelleri,
Celmisia tomentella (NGK 1086), Stylidium armeria (NGK
1087).
Descriptive notes: Dense, compact shrub c. 0.5 m x 0.5 m.
Leaves dark green, new growth paler. Corolla white, pink in
bud.
Collecting notes: Somewhat localised - common west of the
summit area, but not seen along track between summit and
car park.
