granulosa, Placynthiella uliginosa auct., Trapeliopsis fleuxosa, Cladonia
macilenta, Cladonia cristatella, Cladonia atlantica, Cladonia grayi,
Rhizocarpon rubescens.
Thallus lignicolous, crustose, granulat, brown, C-; granules subglobose to
elongate; apothecia reddish, plane to strongly convex (margins quickly excluded);
epihymenium brown; hymenium colorless/brown streaked; hypothecium colorless/tan
(distinctly lighter then hymenium above and exciple below); exciple brown;
ascospores ca. 8-per ascus, simple, obtuse-ellipsoid, with oil-droplets, hyaline, 10-
12.5|im x 5n.m.
