In sandy wash. In Artemisia-Yucca hills with scattered Juniperus and Purshia. Locally abundant. Pink-brown soil, pH ca. 6.5.

Description
Corollas dark pink to pale red-violet with a white ring around the orifice and white guidelines within on abaxial side of throat. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower.
