    Large exposed outcrop, cliff and associated talus, surrounded by hardwood forest (Quercus rubra dominant, Acer saccharum, Betula alleghaniensis, Carya, Fraxinus, Quercus alba) with Ilex montana-Acer pensylvanicum-Hamamelis understory and occasional thickets of Kalmia-Vaccinium-stunted Q. rubra. on rock in overhang.
