completely covering moribund trees of Croton, Cordia, Acacia and Bursera, in caGtus
forest along short trail from Darwin Research Station to Seismic Station, Academy
Bay, 100 ft. alt.; great masses of the lichen fall with bits of the dead twigs forming
a deep litter. Color pale brown when fresh.
