Series of large, weakly calcareous shale outcrops and mixed hardwood (Acer, Nyssa, Oxydendrum, Quercus alba, Q. rubra, Q. prinus) – conifer (Pinus strobus, P. virginiana, Tsuga) forest with Kalmia-Vaccinium thickets and many blowdowns. on fallen Quercus rubra branch.
