Vallegrande, 9.8 km NW of central plaza of Vallegrande. 18°26’43”S, 64°iri6”W. alt. 1775 m. Dry wash incised in arid valley with agricultural fields on flatter areas. Shrubby and with some larger trees, much Prosopis alba. Small tree, the trunk 20 cm. in diameter at base, but rapidly tapering to relative few thick twigs; sap soon congealing and whitish, gelatinous. Flowers staminate, yellow-green. Coll.: M.
