N of highway at Aguai, on farm road in heavily agricultural
area, 19 km NW of bridge at Chañé Independencia.
16°49’28”S, 63°18’40”W. alt. 230 m.
Flat area with remnant forest, swamp and now mostly fields
of Zea mays, Saccharum qfficinarum, Glycine max and
Oryza sativa.
Forming much-branched masses at edge of grassy marsh,
weak-stemmed, but apparently not climbing here. Fruit
bright red-orange.
