The New York Botanical Garden Plants of BOLIVIA Solanaceae Lycianthes fasciculata (Rusby) Bitter det.M. Nee, 2011 Depto. SANTA Cruz, Prov. Florida, along what was the old horse and mule trail (in Theodore Herzog’s time, 1911), between El Palo and Mataral, 1 km ESE of El Palo, and 0.4 km WSW of jet. of Vallegrande road and main highway in Mataral. 18°06’55’S, 64° 13’07”W. alt. 1385 m. Slight slopes and bottom of valley, grazed thom scrub with Neoraimondia herzogiana, Pereskia sacharosa, Cereus comarapanns, Cappctris speciosa and edges of cultivated fields on flat. Weak shrub, to 3 m. high when scrambling through other shrubs. Flowers lightly fragrant (10:40 A.M., cloudy bright). The flower face held vertically or slightly above the vertical, the stamens arching upwards below the stigma. Corolla rotate, white, with yellow star in center and orange anthers. Coll.: M. Nee & J.
